Lara Donovan joined the GoWeb1 team in May of 2011. Prior to this, she spent 4+ years as an event planner in the Springfield, Illinois area. During this time Lara gained experience in working with the public in several different capacities while honing in on her design skills for various marketing campaigns. The transition into 'virtual planner' has worked out nicely; Lara enjoys the high-energy atmosphere of the GoWeb1 team while juggling several client projects at once.
Lara is a member of the Young Springfield Professionals Network, The Community Foundation of the Land of Lincoln Young Philanthropists, and was recently featured in the 2011 Springfield Business Journal's 40 Under 40 award program for her contributions to the local business community. Lara is a graduate of Ursuline Academy, Springfield College in Illinois (now Benedictine University at Springfield) and majored in Communication with a minor in Visual Arts at University of Illinois at Springfield. She went on to receive her M.A. in Communication at UIS. Lara and her husband Mark reside in Springfield.
