Courtney Westlake is a freelance writer and commercial photographer. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has more than six years of experience as an editorial, commercial and web writer.
Courtney’s current areas of expertise include portrait and commercial photography, copy-editing and writing for all media and publications. Since she is working out of her home, this allows her to create and write in her favorite sweatpants and watch her young son grow up. Her interests include water-skiing, traveling abroad and locally, reading and the Fighting Illini.
